Abe Lincoln and July 4th fireworks were the highlights of the reunion… besides, of course, the usual gabbing

DuQuoine, Illinois, in America's Heartland, welcomed 114 descendants of four Altstadt immigrant clans for the 4th National Family Reunion
Abraham Lincoln, welcomed us to the DuQuoin Fairgrounds with some of his wry humor centered around the American Civil War period. Award winning bar-b-que and other fine foods kept our tummy's happy while our hosts kept the good times rolling. Capped by a spectacular fireworks display at the Racetrack Stands…it was an event all the clan participants will long remember.

The descendants Rheinhart Alstadt invited the Allstadt/Altstadt/Altstatt Clans to the 4th National Reunion on the July 4th Weekend, 2004, in DuQuoin, Illinois, for fun, food and fireworks! Wayne and Barbara Alstat and Glenn and Sharon Alstat rolled out the red carpet!
