Altstadt/Altstatt 16 Day Tour of Europe
In 2003, 32 Allstadt/Altstadt Clan Members toured their German Ancestoral Home Sites and had a great time! .
In 2012, American descendants of those immigrants will have another chance to return to Europe and visit
the historical roots of their ancestors. Upon landing in Switzerland, we will meet our personal tourguide, Elisabeth, and touring coach, then spend the first night near Altstetten, Switzerland. We will tour through the Black
Forest of Germany and stop at various early Altstadt locations before banqueting at Burghaun with many of our German cousins. Then onto Alstette Castle, Bremen, Lübeck, Allstedt Castle, Bamberg, Erlangen, Munich and Neuschwanstein
Castle before crossing the Austrian border and heading to Innsbruck. Lastly we return to Switzerland and fly home.
In the Spring of 2012, another Allstadt/Altstadt/Allstatt Clans tour group will return to their historical German roots…
Come Along! This tour will encompass early clan sites in Germany,
Austria and Switzerland with travel through the beautiful Austrian Alps as well. Along with the tour we will travel and banquet with German Allstadts and Altstadts in Michelfeld, Burghaun and Erlangen.
Although we will have a First Class Time
, the tour will be similar to the 2003 tour in "package" quality. We leave for Europe from Washington, D.C.'s Dulles Airport. We will fly economy class to Zurich,
Switzerland. In Europe, we will enjoy mostly 4-star hotel class accommodations. Join us and enjoy the dining, castles, gardens, mountains, museums and Spring flowers along the way. We need a minimum of
